Aquapoint Bioclere® system is a custom designed decentralized wastewater treatment
system designed to meet customer's discharge requirements.
Here are a few of their most notable products:
for detailed information on the Bioclere® and all their other products.
The Bioclere® is a modified tricking filter over a clarifier
that uses a fixed-film treatment process to treat wastewater containing
varying organic and nutrient concentrations. Units maybe installed
in parallel to treat large flows or in series to achieve high level of
treatment. The Bioclere® can treat flows from 200 to 100,000 gallons per
The Lotus® -ActiveCell® system is a moving bed biological
reactor(MBBR) technology in which free floating bio film
(media) supports a fixed film treatment process to reduce organic and
nutrient concentrations in wastewater. This process can treat 1000 to
2 million gallons per day. Along with BOD and TSS reduction, nitrification,
and denitrification, this unit also controls phosphorus reduction.
ANOX-BDR and MBDR Denitrification
The ANOX-BDR and MBDR Denitrification are a tertiary stage,
fixed film denitrifing reactor that are used in conjunction with Bioclere®
and Lotus® -ActiceCell® units to achive total nitrogen concentrations
of 10 mg/l or less. These units can treat 1000 to 2 million gallons per day.
The PrepAer is a pre-treatment reactor used largely in commercial
applications to pre-condition high strength wastewater for biological
treatment in either a Bioclere® or a Lotus® -ActiceCell® system.
The PrepAer protects the bacteria in the Bioclere® and the Lotus® -
ActiceCell® biological treatment systems by stripping certain
volatile organic compounds (VOC) that may be present in cleaning
chemicals and detergents.
